It’s the best movie I’ve seen in a while. Probably the most recognizable Calgary scenes I can remember seeing in a movie. There’s also tons of Drumheller and Kananaskis.

Anyone watch The Order on Prime? Was filmed around here and is set in the 80’s but you can see the Bow multiple times in the skyline. Also shot in the Acad parkade and at Northhill Sears. Good movie.

One thing I notice in Seton (and even Auburn Bay) is that there are always people walking to the stores and coming back with groceries. In the warmer weather I walk from Auburn to Seton for groceries or snacks sometimes too. Compared to many new areas it is quite walkable. Is it perfect? No. But...

The Douglasglen condos are well underway. The site is so massive I couldn’t capture it all in one pic. They dug a mountain of dirt for the underground parking for all 3 buildings. Will be strange not seeing bails of hay in an empty field here anymore.

What’s left to do? Is this on the city or the province to apply?

Looking at the location this looks like the parcel across the street from Superstore that was originally supposed to be offices. The mixed use idea of Seton has been completely diluted to nothing now. The only office building is the white one across from the hospital. It's mostly medical. This...

I think Logel’s already built 2 of these? Massive buildings. Agreed with Albertasaurus that I’d take more of the piss coloured condos over this suburban dreck though.

Sounds like they ditched the original food hall plan then? I think the added density with ground floor retail is an improvement over the more suburban foodhall. But damn why did they have to go with the fluorescent piss colour? Hopefully it weathers better than the Sturgess affordable housing...
