The recent renderings make me fear a repeat of the West Village Towers podium of cheap beige paneling. I hope I’m wrong and they stick with brick.

I get the necessity for emergency affordable housing but this looks like a temporary workcamp structure from up north. The one across the street turned out great but this is just 🤮.

In a weird way the font almost makes it look like a mid century modern building from that angle. Like it’s an extension of the office beside it.

I had a humanities class at U of C with Myke Atkinson and also knew him second hand from a friend at ACAD that played in a band with him. From what I remember he’s a super smart, super passionate and organized guy. He would make a really good councillor.

Work is plowing along for the Greenline at Barlow and 114th. Pillars are starting to form closer to Deerfoot.
