Yeah kind of frustrating that it seems to be turning its back to the river. Doesn't bode well for the potential for 6th Ave to be reduced (or eliminated entirely). That design even shows a berm totally blocking the site from the street, which makes sense given its current condition but struggles...

Absolutely no question Macleod needs a complete redesign. It's beyond saving in its current form. Nothing short of a total reconstruction could fix it, and it's primarily because of all the driveways you mentioned.

I mean, I know that someone wanted to redevelop it a while ago and then gave up cause the city didn't want to help them. Idk if anything has changed since then.

DMap only seems to have the office conversion unfortunately. I think we have to yet to see a full block rendering (at completion) or a site plan?

I actually think both office buildings on the site are nice, but the one that's getting converted is really nice. Very glad it's being kept.
