As someone who lived in that neighbourhood for many years and grew up with the Bethany almost right next door, it is the perfect scale and for that area and very much welcomed.

That Chartwell project went back to RFP for invited architects in October, then was cancelled. Not sure why.

I think the design has been updated a wee bit since this, too. As you can see, there's an aesthetic that SAIT wants to keep across its campus. Shoulda seen the original renderings too when the design-build teams were selected; it was something right out of Copenhagen.

I took the YYC-NRT route and back in July... completely full plane, both ways. Love love love the fact that this route exists; and, if you have a chance to go to Tokyo / Japan, absolutely do it.
