With the main streets work on 33rd being stopped for the holiday shopping season, this one might pick back up for a bit.

Another half a block on 33rd was just torn down East of 19 St. I think that one is Sarina homes and they seem to be good at getting things built.

Guess those properties will continue to be completely run down and fenced off for the time being. Wish they would either have kept them as is until they were actually ready to build, or knocked them down. It's a complete eyesore right now.

Hopefully this site doesn't end up like Marlo on 36th. They're just now building the remaining units 10 years after demolition.

My only issue with this development is that these buildings that take up such a huge parcel of land can get a little boring visually. Something like South Bank in Inglewood where the facade changes as you walk along the building would be much better, IMO.

There's a bit of a pit with some foundation work started, but this has been on hold the last while with the Main Streets project in full effect. The roads surrounding this lot have been dug up. Might be a slow one.

Deville has some chairs and tables outside. Bit of an awkward spot as it's so close to the intersection, not much separation between where you sit and the cars going through. Don't know why they aren't open late though. Marda Loop is sorely lacking in coffee shops that are open past 6 pm...

Maybe some better renderings will change my mind but I think this is Courtyard 33 part 2. Could be the beer tanks in the rendering, but this just feels like it belongs in Inglewood over by Cold Garden or in the Barley Belt. Or maybe I'm just bitter over how disappointing Courtyard 33 turned out...

Is this a parcel that needs development? Yes. Is this the right scale for the neighbourhood? Yes. Do I like the look? No. This would make a good brewery in the Barley Belt but I don't think it fits Marda Loop at all.

Signal infrastructure and tree removal around 34th / 20th and 34th / 22nd is starting on Monday and will last 6 weeks. First step in the main street work.
