The coffee shop that has this patio opened this week. They said they have a permit to get the patio winterized. Had heaters going as well. Nice little spot with a very small footprint.

In more Elizabeth Square news, D.O.P. is going into the basement of the building on the NE corner. Just walked by and saw their sign through the window. This means I have no clue where Bella's Italiana will be. I assume it's more than just the small patio out front.

New addition to Elizabeth Square. You can see the care they put into the finishing touches. I'll take 100 of these over any high rise.

There has always been 2-3 projects on the go in Marda Loop since I moved here in 2015. I don't think the construction will be done in 2027.

Leonard Development Group strikes again! These are the developments I'm most excited about in Marda Loop. Much more than the Co-op proposal or the strip mall across the street.

Small update of the one part of the Marda Loop Mainstreets project that is nearing completion from this morning. Feels like the finishing touches are taking forever but it's at least completed enough that you can walk on 18th street now. Will be a real nice area once everything is all done.

The existing building is being demolished today. Was about 80% gone when I walked by at lunch.

Does that mean that those sidewalks will not be completed as a part of the Main Streets project? Or are they being completed and then promptly ripped up again?

Swung by Marda Gras this morning. Was the same as usual, albeit a little narrow between 19th and 20th street with the North side ripped up.

I'm wondering what Marda Gras will be like this year given that 33rd is completely ripped up. Guessing it will be toned down somewhat.
