Tim’s is an attraction point for homeless people. Remember last year I was out in Vancouver and me and a friend stopped to go into a Tim Hortons and the door was locked. They had to buzz you in. And to be honest, I had no problem with that. I totally understand why they were doing that.

I walked past the site yesterday and the footprint for the proposed building is larger than the foundation already built. That said, maybe the underground portion that’s already built doesn’t have to match the footprint of the proposed building.

I like that Central Park plan for Seton. It’s nice having it surrounded by low rise apartments, it has a European feel.

I think most of us agree the park option is a bad idea. As someone who cycles around downtown in the Beltline from time to time, I would love to see more infrastructure for cycling or pedestrians, but I think taking vehicle access away from 11th St. is the wrong approach. Why do we need to take...

I would rather see vehicle traffic left open on 11th St., and mixed in with active mode, but also a separate overpass or underpass somewhere else along the Beltline that is only open to active modes. The whole idea is to improve active mode options, but that doesn’t mean we have to take away...

Not under any circumstances while Trump is in power.

We cancelled our trip to the New York/Philadelphia this summer, and cancelled plans for Hawaii next December. Part of it is Trump, part was the low dollar, but Trump made it an easy decision. On the flip side, it’s now helping to convince my less adventurous wife to go to another continent.

The vast majority (including myself) voted for elevated. A question for those who voted for the u/g option. Do you think there’s a chance of getting funding for u/g? I’m not challenging your choice, more of curiosity thing. To me it looks like u/g is completely off the table, but I might be wrong.

This would be a good addition to the Chinook area. It’s 1000 times better than what’s there now and I see this as cheap housing stock 20 years from now when Chinook is being built out as highly dense node.
