I hope so too. I live within a block of both of these developments and I can't wait for them to transform the area. You should hear the nimbyism from all my neighbours in regards to these projects though 🙄

I'm still hoping for something since I really don't want a ground-level, empty parking lot for who knows how long but it's not looking very promising with how much they're gutting everything.

Since the last week or so, I've seen construction workers in the whole building going totally ham on demo of each space so that would make sense.

Is that the old tire/auto shop that's been just a vacant piece of land for years now?

A good portion of the bottom part of the building that used to have Anju in it has been fenced off. Is something happening with this property finally? Or is it just some site work/clean up...

I meant to post this earlier too. I saw two people on-site setting up all the scaffolding so fingers crossed this is on its way to be completed.

Those views in the last three renders sure are ... creative. The last two images have views of Calgary that are not accurate at all. lol

I walk by that area every day with my dog and always think about how nice that area would be if they bookended that park with some developments and refreshed that park with a fountain feature or something.

Curious if anyone knows what's going into the space beside Jinya on 4th street (1800 4 St SW, Calgary, AB T2S 2S4). I was hopeful it would be something exciting like retail, restaurant or bar but the more I see the changes they're making, the more I'm starting to think it's another bank. :rolleyes:

Also crazy to think how completely different that view of the skyline would have been 10 years ago.

Wow! So many great additions to that area for food and drink. I thought that the Keg was supposed to be one of the tenants but these are going to be really exciting for 10th ave.
