    There's a fair bit of opposition to this project in my community too (Haysboro) which I find a bit odd because Glenmore landing isn't in Haysboro nor is it really connected to it other than the pedestrian bridge that crosses 14th st at 90th Ave. Hard to say how many are actually opposed to it...

    Calgary Regional Rail Transit

    LRT would be a nice option for me to get to work. I live close to Heritage Station. I'd love to see it happen but I'm not holding my breath. Hopefully the Airport Authority and taxi mafia don't stand in the way.

    I'm assuming setbacks are the grassy areas between the street and the sidewalk? Those are actually one of the reasons I asked about Elbow getting bike lanes. Seems like there's room. Would the fairly heavy bus traffic cause an issue?

    Interesting. I live in Haysboro so I'm close to Elbow just south of Heritage. To my layman's eyes, it seems there's space for a dedicated bike lane without the need to remove a lane for cars if they used up some of the grass space between the current sidewalk and the street. But I doubt that...

    Apologies if this has been discussed already, but would Elbow Drive be a good candidate for a dedicated bike lane? Speed limit is 50km/h the entire road, basically takes you to downtown from as far South as Canyon Meadows.
