It’s about as pretty as it’s gonna get ?. I usually try not to look that direction, ha ha. Those buildings are just wrong. Particularly the tops. Something didn’t translate well from render to reality.

S Sunterra caters to a niche market. Lots of hot food to go, single servings, health food. Depends heavily on walk in traffic from the surrounding residential buildings.

It’s a weird mix. Addicts openly smoking crack and shooting up right on the sidewalks. Doing the zombie dance. Then a bunch of 20-30’s living the hip city life.

Those crappy bachelor suites have dropped from $1350 to $999. Maybe they can bulk rent to social programs or something. Beautiful building on the outside but what a fail on the functional side.

They built Drake, then fixed some of the boo-boos when they built the “brother” building Smith.

Holy moly. I’ve never lived in a place with one way streets and there are bike lanes as well. I’m so confused. I’m driving because I’m too nervous to take transit with the Covid-19 situation. Is there some general rules to all of this? Particularly with crossing those bike lanes? Help a lost...

I rented a unit in Chocolate and it’s actually very strategically located for easy walk up 1st to Downtown or 17th Ave or to the Stampede grounds and the train. I think I will love living here. Still camping in the unit until I learn the fate of my stuff in Fort McMurray.
