    Harmony One | 20m | 6s | Gravity Architecture

Hi Seraveee, Your real estate agent is mistaken or being dishonest. Those photos are from another parcel of land and another project. The land where Harmony is supposed to go is further east and nothing at all has happened on the lot. I'll try and take a photo for you next time I'm in the area...

    Trail 19 | 22.25m | 6s | Eagle Crest | FAAS Architecture

With this at one end of 20th (almost) and Catalyst at the other end, there’s hope for 20th. Becoming more than just an avenue full of duplexes.

    Oliver | 121.3m | 35s | Centron | Gibbs Gage

I'm thrilled to see this back in play. Are there any other stalled projects around Calgary? I can't think of any.

    100% agree about Certus.

    Alvaro | 10m | 3s | Cruz Developments

I think the project is stalled again. The foundations have been poured but there hasn’t been activity the last couple of times I’ve passed by.

    Infill Development Discussion

I don't mind the streetscape made up of 3 storey townhouses, but I don't care for the wooden fences in front of the balconies.I get people like their privacy, but the fences would look better if shorter. I also don't like the setbacks. Why have a strip of useless grass patches? If anything you...

    Hudson Condos | 20m | 5s | Sarina Homes | Casola Koppe

I feel like the city could simply hire Sarina to improve certain parts of the city. Point them at Edmonton Trail or 17th Ave around Killarney. Their developments aren't architecturally stunning, but they are above average, and they get things done.

    Dominion | 53m | 15s | Bucci Developments | Urban Agency

Is there anything proposed for that empty lot? It would be nice to see a Radius phase II or something like.

    Redstone | 43.89m | 14s | Amble Ventures | NORR

It's hard to tell because of the tarps, but it looks like they are going with both stucco and spandrel. I'm surprised they didn't go with spandrel only like they did with 1215.

Agreed, though I imagine this is more of a general placeholder. The final design will look different.

I've been there a couple of times. Great place.

New to me. Looks decent enough, certainly a reasonable scale for the location.

    Aria | 22m | 6s | NORR

I think I agree. For the most part it's a good solid project, with one or two too many colors or materials.

    11th + 11th | 138.07m | 44s | Intergulf | Ramsay Worden

This is really moving fast now, like over a floor per week! It won't be long before this is noticeable in the skyline.

Calgary ‘Black Lives Matter‘ Equality Protests

Not to take anything away from what black people have experienced, especially in the U.S. but I wonder how the movement will go given it's slogan is black lives matter. As witnessed in social media and even in one of the Urban's pics, many of the protesters don't like the slogan 'all lives...

I honestly don't see what the big commotion is about, it's not really that bad IMO. It would be better with brick, but overall I don't have any issues with it. Now that I've said that it's best I put on my flak jacket.
