Note the poor quality of the finished concrete surfaces in 6th and 10th though. Finished concrete is supposed to be more polished and "nice to the touch", not like this where it would scratch you.

I'm pretty sure this is a rental building. Unless the developer isn't retaining ownership, I would have thought they'd be more concerned about long term integrity.

I'm honestly surprised anybody would try to develop a new building in that area, given how poorly all the SoBow phases sold. I'd imagine this will be rental, but still...

When I saw the name of this development, I assumed it was at the Eisenberg's furniture store.

Not great aesthetics in my opinion, but an improvement for the livability of the units due to the additional windows this revision at least.

I fail to see how something like this can get rejected. The city needs to change their procedures so that a rejection like this is impossible...

They sold the remainder of the block back to the CMLC.

It also allows for a season or two of ground settlement to minimize cracking with the permanent sidewalk.
