Ive been wondering if they couldn't just salvage the southeastern 1/3 of the lower bowl of the Saddledome and use that as a basis of the outdoor amphitheater. Seems like a good way to make the cost palatable to the Stampede.

Yeah every time I've taken the UP Express (couple dozen??) it's been surprisingly empty. Always more than enough seats. Fantastic service to have.

Surprised that the train from YYC to Banff isn't high on the feds list. It is absolutely a focal point for economic and environmental resiliency for one of the largest tourist attractions in the entire country.
