Given the way this project had gone from the beginning it’s quite possible. It would be nice to see this get built, at the same time I feel bad for the investors. They could’ve invested into a number of other projects that have long been built already.

If I were a betting man I would say that the brick shown on the upper portion will end up as paneling, but I would also bet that the podium will be brick as shown in the rendering. The upper portion I don’t care that much about as long as the podium is brick I’ll be happy with this project

Unfortunately you're correct. It'll be there for some time, but there are still areas that can be developed. Start with developing the area shown in red, and it gets density and potentially a better walkway system to the LRT station. Once that area gets developed, the land where Home depot sits...

would be great to have a hotel in that part of the downtown/Beltline. Tourists can see a side of Calgary they don't always see.
