Apart from the density, It seems like projects with these elaborate indoor/outdoor courtyard proposals rarely seem to materialize as envisioned. They make for great renderings, but not sure how realistic they are in our climate. I'm sure it would be VE'd down.

That's really too bad, the previous proposal was much more interesting both from an architecture and use perspective. Only a few blocks from me too, so I probably would've used that laneway retail.

I love their depiction of Vetro/Sasso in that one street shot. A mangled mess of a bunker that doesn't even deserve to be in focus.

But it doesn't cost anything to have a decent color scheme. In fact it would literally be cheaper to paint it one solid color.

Ha, yeah, I think at this point, that would be a steal there. I paid $1400 for a 350sqft apartment....but this was like 14 years ago and in a part of Brooklyn that wasn't particularly cool. Bet that place is like $2.5-3K now.

Yeah, I can see why they didn't...but a shame long term if things ever get better in the neighborhood. But you do bring up a good point, selling a main floor residential unit may be just as challenging.

Looks pretty decent. Any of those units commercial? I know it's not the right circumstance in that neighborhood right now, but talk about a great potential setting for some coffee shops/restaurants/patios etc. along Riverfront Lane/Ave.
