I hope I didn't top your list 2 times in a row??. But yeah, I feel your pain, I feel like a lot of these buildings were unnecessarily demolished, especially those which are now parking lots.

Thanks Surrealplaces, I'll get them off the list. And yeah, it's unfortunate knowing that most of those buildings are gone. Hopefully Hotel York will one day be rebuilt beside the Bow so I can get it off the list as well.

Adding on to this, most of these plans can easily be done without having to tear any part of the stampede grounds down. Parking can be placed underground and that will free up enough of the Stampede grounds to clear the way for foot traffic to make the entire place a pedestrian walking paradise...

The good news is a few of these mid sized malls are actually facing potential renovations and redevelopments. A few months back, I was actually reading about how several of them will be having their parking space converted to residential towers.
