Thanks for pointing that out! I actually had no idea that 4 meters is that rare for office towers, though I did know it's not the standard. Either way, this will be a majestically tall structure upon completion. It always blows my mind how much the city changes every year.

If each floor will be roughly 4 meters including the interfloor height, which is reasonable, it should be around 35-37 floors

Crazy to think how tall this tower will be compared to the rest of the buildings in the area. It's probably less than a third of the height it will be at completion and it's already more than a runt from the westbound skyline. It'll be almost twice as tall as the tallest towers in the area and...

That's really damn expensive considering the location. I get that it's centre street but it's a full 2.5 km away from downtown and it's an empty area with literally nothing on it.

Were they originally planning it to be pretty much all glass with thin strips of the metal/cladding or whatever they use? I swear that's what the renders looked like.

If god wills it, they'll hopefully switch the paneling and cladding to more neutral colors that match the buildings in the background. Black and white cladding with some reflective glass would be much better there.
