It was devised like 2 years too early. Another project like this was the former CBC site - but thankfully they went back to the drawing board with a denser plan.

It's 210th and Macleod, so just barely west and super far south. That slough or creek valley or whatever it is west of Macleod really makes the area seem extra sparse.

Interestingly this project seems to be just on the empty lot at the corner, and not replacing the two old houses.

I would love if they would run that thing into the side of the hill, Edmonton LRT style, and emerge just north of 20 Ave N. One can dream.

Sort of related - looks like Gondek is running for mayor again, after all.

My own experience a while back (1-2 years ago) was that the detours, road closures, disallowed turns, and one-way conversions made the area confusing to navigate by car. At one point I had to backtrack to get out. It's been more or less back to normal when I've visited since then. But I can see...

Looks like nothing has changed since this DP was applied for in March? The DP submission calls this "Oxford-Wexford Beltline", at 1150 Centre St SE.
