Just a quick question. Can someone explain the difference between a NIMBY and the haters on this site? Both don’t want things built because of small superficial or made up in their own mind reasons.

The only way I can see the city dive into Crowchild is if the province and their car first visions throws lots of money at it. I’d think the City would use that money for LRT expansion first.

The reason they didn’t do subway initially was to get more line built. I believe it’s one of the reasons are lines are so successful is because the built out so far in The early days. Didn’t Edmonton build subway like through downtown and didn’t get that far out initially?
