Stephen Avenue Quarter was proposed by Triovest, but scrapped the project after pushback in regards of preserving the heritage of the buildings along Stephen Ave. I figure they'll give it another kick at the can soon though.

Should've been the alignment since 2021 when costs skyrocketed. At least they've made the obvious choice. Goes to the core of downtown, and preserves NCLRT extension. No more delays. Get to work.

True. A future NW/West Calgary crosstown MAX route could likely fulfill the primary transit network link here. Could take you from Blue Line to Winsport, Westhills, and other destinations.

What is the projected population for this when it's fully built out? The main barrier that I see preventing this community from getting a Blue Line extension is the costs to go underground from 17 Ave up to Broadcast Ave on 85 street. I don't believe any other grade alignment would be supported...

Bigger spot and arguably a better location since it's nearby university and SAIT, off of Crowchild & 16th (easier access for NW & SW residence), by LRT station, and close to Kensington and downtown still.
