With the MAX Purple, there is a plan to integrate it with the Green Line in someway that it doesn't use 9th Ave in Inglewood I'm assuming. Based on the recent Route Ahead update, there is a planned transitway extension from the Blackfoot Truck stop to Downtown. How that looks? I have no clue.

Eau Claire needs a main street where a fair amount of CRU's are added to current commercial buildings along the road to get life into the area during, and outside of work hours. 3rd Ave could be that street; where there could be restaurants, bars, shops that span from 6 St SW to Chinatown. That's probably the play here. Push the density to be by the rail line and the transit station, rather than along 9th ave. Therefore you can't say that Ingelwood is not allowing for dense builds within the community, and can get more support from council when they oppose a project.

Omni should be successful because as mentioned, NE population is increasing significantly, as well as Chestermere's. Conrich may be as well also? Either way, Omni being literally next door to Calgary's NE city limits will draw a lot of traffic from that part of town. I would LOVE to see this...

Another long term plan that should possibly be considered is a streetcar on 17th Ave from Stampede station down to Westbrook station. I think there was a study on this a while back. There's the consideration of a streetcar from Westbrook to MRU, and figuring out what's the best route for that...
