    ..and sad to think those units will take up to times as much land, and new infrastructure (roads, light standards, etc..) to support that new growth. On the flip side, it's not 1100 single family homes. That would be as lot of extra infrastructure.

    Certainly going at a high pace now. They started on the steel just 3 weeks ago, and they've had more progress in those three weeks than the previous 3 months.

    Duplexes are a good option. I've lived in duplexes a couple of different times and to me personally, it didn't feel any different than a single family home.     Let's hope common sense prevails and it gets removed. A large number of houses along 24th ave are rentals, I presume the owners of the properties would be happy to see multi-family zoning.
