Biked around Crown Park yesterday. There are a lot of available units in blocks 1 and 2. I'm sure the rooftop patios have great views, considering the ones from the sidewalk are good.

With this analysis and overview, did you find any lots that had existed since 1969? Im curious to know what is "Calgary's oldest surface parking lot" ? It would be interesting to compare the oldest surface DT parking lots across Canada.

Not the best photo but theres a crane on site and the woodframe has started to go up. Its intresting how the building is square and some of the "Ground floor" units are clearly below grade at the south end of the building. Reminds me of the buildings along 33rd close to Crowchild.

I was thinking the same thing with the pathways. If you don't have a paved option, I could see a dirt trail cutting across the park being used to get to the LRT station.

I like the firestone site. The views of downtown with the mountains would make it an iconic background for any outdoor concert held there. Any sound considerations would be mitigated with the location in a light industrial park.
