These types of developments are good for Bowness, we just a few more of them. One of the other projects on Gravity's website 'The Jake' is also slated for Bowness.

This is in Quarry Park. I don’t know this project, but it appears to be stalled at the moment.

Pile installation has completed, and excavation should begin shortly. Possibly Monday.

As I mentioned earlier the colour choices could be better but I can live with beige.

IMO colours could be better, but to be honest I am totally fine with it. it will blend in amongst all the other projects around the area and add some good density to Sunnyside.

Agree. Sometimes ribbed metal panels can look cheap, but these look fantastic.

Totally different type of material installation compared to their other project, 1215, which is almost the exact same building. 1215 was straight up window wall installation.

Has anyone noticed the ALT hotel sign at night. Looks great - much better in person than the pics. My phone camera doesn't do it justice.

I like the proposal's design, too bad about having to tear down the apartment building. This city never ceases to amaze me, lots of empty lots everywhere and someone needs to build something on one of the lot of one of the few remaining cool old buildings.

Brick is generally cheaper and more accessible in the east, but not a huge difference in pricing from what I've heard. Although popular with houses/duplexes/townhomes and low rises, these days it's common to see on the front of the building done with brick with the other three sides using siding...

I much prefer Telus Sky to Vancouver house, except fore the color choice. I love the brightly colored panels of Vancouver House, but prefer everything else about Telus Sky.

That same level or better if they ever developed the north side. So much potential in Bridgeland right now.
