I want to see much more of this with low-rise architecture. At-grade units that are designed to become tiny CRUs upon the owner's discretion. Or turn back into homes if the business isn't successful. It's the traditional way of building, and it's how the old buildings on and near Stephen Ave...

Already feels transformed, it's incredible. There are so many empty lots in this area that needed this treatment yesterday - with the right pedestrian infrastructure I think 16 Ave could really turn around.

It feels like this has gone up stoopidly fast. Not even a couple months ago I was biking through here every day next to a dirt patch. Design has definitely changed. Not as shocking that this can fit across 2 lots. Pretty standard. Nice to get a couple extra units instead of a parking garage...

I struggle to categorize this as anything other than "a big blank slate near existing transit" — but, to be fair, this is probably the worst train station in the city right now for land use by far. All the rest at least have some crummy mall or shopping centre adjacent, even if you have to walk...

Glad it looks like the plan is improving from whatever hot garbage made it on the Province's Major Projects portal. Mixed Use Entertainment and Mixed Use Core districts look like they are going to be swamped by parking, but hopefully that's more of a temporary attraction for suburban...

Truman must have at least 2 billion dollars worth of development under construction, or proposed - expected within the next 5 years or so at least. It's almost unimaginable.
