It's interesting that the Reddit thread is full of people who see no value in saving any of the buildings this project would destroy. As I can't see how this will go ahead given the doom and gloom surrounding the economy here I'm not too worried about losing that block.

They were pumping cement into the hole here today when I went by.

the reason I live at arch is because the unit is 1200 square feet. no other building offers that size. anyways, the light store was demolished today.

I live in the Arch, you know, that place that you all think is a fucking dump (my home), and I'm pretty sure landlords can't ask for more than first/last month's rent unless you cannot provide any credit history - then things may change.
