    I know stuff like lumber has been falling in price a whole lot lately, and I assume it'll be the same for other materials (at least I hope). So maybe 'if' they're any cuts in place, they'll at least be mitigated.

    Vegas somehow managed to put this flashy thing together for 375 million USD in 2014, that's 430 mil in 2021 or about 539 million CAD. Now that's what I call a bargain...

    Very certain the train station-y look of UBS arena was inspired by the American Airlines center (Dallas) and Nationwide Arena (Columbus). Boxy, stately brick and glass, the resemblance is uncanny. Heck, they even took the corner "lighthouses" right off the Bluejacket's building

    I like the inverted bowl design, sounds awesome, but 15,000 would by far make it the smallest arena by capacity. On par with Winnipeg. I don't think we'd want that distinction.

    I saw somebody saying the rendering looked like a giant, deconstructed Ice Cream sandwich.. I can't unsee it now hahaha. (I seriously hope more can be done with this exterior)
