From my understanding, the NL premier basically told WS that they would foot the bill for any losses on the route. They held a press conference for it today. Definitely nice for NL residents, no more back tacking to YYZ or YUL to get to Europe.

WestJet has already been requesting slots for new routes from YYC, from our colleagues on SSP they requested slots to operate YYC-Lisbon, Portugal but as of right now they haven't been allocated any, I'm not sure If they been denied or just haven't been given any yet, but from what I understand...

Aeroroutes is what I use, it’s usually super quick with updates. There’s also a handful of Instagram and X accounts that are quick to the punch too. Most airlines and Westjet usually announce their new summer routes in the late winter early spring, but realistically it could be any time.

WestJet appears to have cut London-Gatwick for S24. This should free up a frame for either increased frequencies on the existing long-haul routes or perhaps a new destination 👀

The busiest in the country is YYC-YVR, I think YYC-YYZ is fourth busiest. There’s a list somewhere by OAG group but I can’t find it anymore.

Its such a sad situation, not only do I feel for Adam Johnson, his family and everyone at the rink that day, but as well as they player on the other end of the collision Matt Petgrave. I can only imagine what he's feeling, especially with the amount of people on social media calling it...

I think Stampede HQ was the original goal for that NE corner, CSEC was just unable to get confirmation that they would actually be moving into the space so they labeled it "Mixed Use". With the combination of some offices, some residential, and the community rink in the area I think that some...
