I feel like the city could simply hire Sarina to improve certain parts of the city. Point them at Edmonton Trail or 17th Ave around Killarney. Their developments aren't architecturally stunning, but they are above average, and they get things done.

Is there anything proposed for that empty lot? It would be nice to see a Radius phase II or something like.

It's hard to tell because of the tarps, but it looks like they are going with both stucco and spandrel. I'm surprised they didn't go with spandrel only like they did with 1215.

I think I agree. For the most part it's a good solid project, with one or two too many colors or materials.

This is really moving fast now, like over a floor per week! It won't be long before this is noticeable in the skyline.

Not to take anything away from what black people have experienced, especially in the U.S. but I wonder how the movement will go given it's slogan is black lives matter. As witnessed in social media and even in one of the Urban's pics, many of the protesters don't like the slogan 'all lives...

I honestly don't see what the big commotion is about, it's not really that bad IMO. It would be better with brick, but overall I don't have any issues with it. Now that I've said that it's best I put on my flak jacket.

Someone said that they weren't going to do any excavation on this, so maybe they only need the little backhoe? Given it's ASI involved I'm a bit worried it's come to a halt.

In theory forcing everyone into complete lockdown for 2-3 weeks should kill off the virus. I'm not sure if that's even possible, but one thing for sure is if a vaccine isn't found, this virus will continue to spread, and people will continue to die. Especially now that they are finding cases...

Unfortunately being a new virus there have been many unknowns from the start. I know a lot of people who felt that isolating and proper washing of hands etc.. would eventually stop the virus, but as Surreal mentioned, it does't appear that's going to be the case. And it doesn't have to be an...
