It's funny, I was leaving downtown not overly happy with what I got, then in my rear mirror they turned on the lights as I was on the Centre Street Bridge. Had to turn around and go back.

Unlike YYZ, the apron in Calgary is uncontrolled... so it's a free for all. Everything is "at your discretion" so there's literally no rules. Air Canada will call for pushback and WestJet will push to block them, etc.

The ramp is absolute chaos right now. Planes are seemingly unaware that their gate is occupied (which is happening on the regular now) and come barrelling down a one-way alley and can't back out. Looking at you, American.
