I don't know if they do all of the Calgary projects, but they have done a lot of them, and they've been around for a while. Mostly suburban stuff, but lately they've been doing lots of inner city projects.

With dedicated bike lanes on both sides, and a few multifamily developments, 24th will have a completely different look and feel in a few years compared to a couple of years ago.

I think the city needs to take a radical approach and make 16th ave a slower thoroughfare. Add more traffic lights, and add a lane of street parking on each side. It would transform the avenue into a decent high street very quickly.

16th Ave is a true disaster. With the ring road complete, maybe it's time the city thinks outside the box does something radical with 16th. Close down a lane on each side and expand the sidewalks?
