I think there-in lies the problem with the MY. It's trying to do too many things. 1. Provide a quick and direct trip to downtown for residents of the SW. 2. Provide service to MRU. Pick one.

I think it's great! A family with 1-2 kids is more likely to move to Townhouse than an apartment. 99% of apartments have the same 1 and 2 bedroom floor plates.

What is the efficacy of this interchange? How much money will it cost to build vs. how many cars/people will it move? What I'm trying to say, is it really required? Could the money be better spent towards something else?

I'd love to see a bus-only transitway installed down the median of 16th ave for the MAX Orange line. Something similar to what was installed on 17th ave in Forest Lawn. I think it would greatly increase bus travel times and increase transit ridership.

Those are all good points. And Yes...it's easier to take care of yourself when you have a safe, consistent place to sleep and to keep your belongings. But a house is just a house. It's waste of resources to house a homeless person without giving them adequate access to mental health resources...
