I forgot to mention - on the male zucchini flower the pollen was on the lower part of the petals, not in the centre. It took an extra moment for me to notice - I wasn't expecting that. The centre appeared to be identical to the female - as smooth as a babies bum - no visible pollen..

I really like this photo. Before Construction commenced, and before the renderings were released, and if IIRC, Druh Farrell teased us with the notion that it was an awkward teenage girl. And it is. I call it 'Twisted Sister' and I'll always call it that!

^^^ I wonder too! At certain times of day it's crowded. Runners, cyclists, strollers, roller bladers. Some are very skilled in these conditions and others are novice. The barriers stop the ability to dump on grass. Actually, they prevent dumping period. Methinks, it's a hazard.

Their natural predators are lady bugs and lacewings. I've yet to see a lady bug this year - so sad
