That's why Simon Fraser University's brutalist structures actually look good, in comparison with the UofC's which to be honest looked terrible. Not so much the architectural differences in my opinion, but the landscape differences made all the difference.
They did complete "First" and "Verve", but you're saying the high-rise expertise was from Fram? If so, I hope they can hire some good personnel with high rise experience.
There was a real contrast between the interior design and exterior architecture for this building, more so than most buildings I've ever seen. I really liked the interior design, but wasn't a fan of the exterior.
As a beltline highrise resident, AC is mandatory in the summer. I honestly wouldn't consider any multi-family building without AC. At least if it's single family you can sleep in the basement...
