I totally agree, so much barren asphalt. Just happened to be the flight path I took on my way to Fort McMurray via Edmonton. I'll look at which directions flights are taking off before my flight and try and get a window seat that allows me the best views of the city.

One of my favorite views of the skyline. Beautiful layering, just too bad the mountains weren't behind the skyline from this view.

I believe The Guardian towers are the tallest residential towers, Telus Sky will be but that's mixed use.

The blue glass on all those buildings is so easy on the eyes. To me it looks very modern, mind you I don't quite have the eye that most of you do for what is to be expected of a modern cosmopolitan city skyline.
