Looking this pic taken by @GoVertical you can see sure the difference in trees in the SW compared to the NE. You wouldn't even think they're the same city.

The ratios are similar to 2020/2021 as well where Calgary was a solid 4th. The big three have gotten the most, but in per capita terms, Calgary has done better. On a per capita basis only Kitchener/Waterloo has done better, which isn't surprising.
