Sorry for wanting my downtown and city to look attractive. There have been many conversions that look really good including Cube, Tek Place, and others. You can convert old buildings and still make them look somewhat attractive, it doesn’t have to be an either or.

The bigger question, what the hell is going on with those two Eau Clare conversion towers in the background. Woooooofffffff…..

Typical….losing the curves changes the whole building. Went from an A- to a C.

Would the existing grandstand be completely gutted and redone? That structure isn’t getting any younger either and needs a major overhaul.

I vote for the bud barns for a new stadium. I just don’t see how they can create a football stadium and keep the chuckwagon track at the same time.

I’ve been to the Embarcedero a couple times. They are an oyster bar. Great oysters, cool atmosphere. I like the place, also surprised it isn’t busier more often.

I’m with FCC1982 on this one. Can’t believe the city is allowing this much park space to be used for this expansion. This will be a regrettable decision in the future I fear.

This city is so adverse to water features. Yes they can be expensive to maintain and can’t be used during the winter, however, they add so much for those few summer months we get. I find the brown brick building right across the street from it (where Bottlesxrew Bills is) to be 100x uglier form the outside. Either way, two hideous building right beside each other.
