As mentioned earlier in the thread, the interior of the Ryerson SLC by Snøhetta is absolutely phenomenal. Judging by the renders of the library interior and actually getting tour of what was done in Toronto, I think that it's going to be a showstopper.

I toured the Ryerson campus earlier this year and have to say the SLC is a total show stopper. I can dig up some of my photos if anyone's interested, don't know if I have any of the interior though. If the library will be anything like the SLC it will be incredible, imo.

Just joined myself last week. Grew up in Strathmore but have spent a lot of time in Calgary over the years! Right now, I'm in Saskatoon for 2/3 of the year as an Urban Planning student at the U of S. I'm well into my second year now and loving it. The ultimate goal is to graduate and come back...

Only 1500 stalls? If that's true sounds like they're really gonna be pushing for transit use to and from the stadium. Still, that doesn't seem like enough to me.

New member here, thought I'd drop in. :) Permanence of rails shows a commitment to transit? More TOD? Not sure, a bus line would be considerably cheaper than light rail. I would love to see a streetcar in Calgary though!
