There should definitely be a second walkway to the south end of the station, AND both walkways should extend in the direction of pedestrian travel rather than loop back on themselves.

Have you ever been in there? It's actually still a functioning military building. A long time ago the mess hall there was a client of mine. They do exercises, recruiting, and it's fairly busy most days. That said, a public market would be sweet.

They should make a little ski tunnel from COP beside 83rd St all the way down to Bowness. People could ride their bikes or walk their dogs through it in summer.
