    Calgary & Alberta Economy

This pipeline debate, as they all of have been recently, has become so frickin political. Ultimately Horgan wants to stay in power however his government is being propped up by 3 green MLA's who adamantly oppose construction. What the anti pipeline crowd doesn't acknowledge is that the oil will...

Man you're getting heated. You're just not going to get huge sympathy from this crowd. Projects like this invoke a semi from most people on here, busy steets and neighborhoods in the inner city are kind of the point. With that comes dealing with change as places evolve. Just listened to the interview with Arlington CEO in the article. He mentions turning the 42 individual parcels into 7 buildings between 4th and 14th St. Sounds like he wants 17th to grow up, I like it as long as the design is up to the standard of a proper mainstreet.

Hey man, sorry about that the posts kind of blended into each other. Yeah love the wood underbelly of the library, it didn't get a lot of attention in the initial renders but it's looking awesome.

Yeah it's gonna suck living in front of a 6 story building, but hey this is life in a real city. I lived in a neighbourhood that is developing on overdrive (Killarney), wasn't keen on the changes, so I sold my house and bought somewhere different. Things change and you can't expect new...

25th Ave SE LRT Grade Separation

I prefer option 1. That corridor would be crazy with the anthem project on the west side and this on the east. Much needed though, I go through that intersection every day and it's brutal.
