    UPTEN | 121.91m | 37s | Strategic Group

Noticed new forms reaching up to grade level on part of the site. Should be a crane up soon.

This one could be passable if they redesigned for larger windows on the north and south sides. There’s fencing around site and now excavator so may start soon. I’m assuming these are rentals? It’s not an excuse I use often but it will be a big upgrade to the peking dragon resto/surface parking...

Thanks! Yeah, absolutely it's a real hassle at times. Last couple little trips I transferred pics to my phone right after and then I usually add some to the Lightroom app for minor edits. It's def a process, but I do really like having the memories looking back. Would like to create albums for...

Have had it for about a yr, better than my old Canon though. It's a Canon T6i Rebel (I highly recommend for entry level dslr) with the canon 55-250mm lens. Unfortunately, mostly bring camera out when i'm travelling but will try to post more pics in town here too. I used to post travel pics on IG...

    General Construction Updates

Looks like public realm improvements continuing on 17th ave. Also, forgot to post this, there's a sign up at Irvine in Inglewood stating Sept 1, 2018 construction start date, and the CBC site and phase 2 site of the Legion in West Hillhurst are both fenced off. https://twitter.com/EWoolleyWard8

Adding a bit more density to central Beltline. I still love EAP - def in my top 3 for towers in Calgary.

Wow Beltline's really heating up, so many large quantity unit developments/proposals. I guess with 3k population growth over the last 2 years during relatively slow city growth, developers really are bullish on future growth. Shouldn't be long before we see 30k population here. I'd like to see...

I like the look of it too. Looks like a more modern version of their Chocolate condo tower. Happy to see Calgary’s new developments continue to include more variety and character than many of the clone banal towers in Van and TO, even though the top end in those cities is quite remarkable.

    Underwood Tower | 99.06m | 31s | Western Securities

Yes I agree, east side of Beltline starting to look a lot more built up. Actually many parts of the Beltline are looking a lot more built up lately. Pic I took yest:

    Calgary Regional Rail Transit

This would be great for tourism and olympics. I'd prob leave the car at home and take the train from time to time just for the experience.

    Dominion | 53m | 15s | Bucci Developments | Urban Agency

Great to hear, this is one of the best midrise designs i've ever seen. Would fill one of the last holes in the Bridges and make the area feel much more complete too. Now to start building more mixed-use along the north side of 1 Ave NE!

    Infill Development Discussion

Looks great. I love these types of inner-city development. RNDSQR seems to be developing a lot of rowhousing. https://twitter.com/rndsqr_?lang=en Additional projects here: http://www.rndsqr.ca/

    Urban Development and Proposals Discussion

Single detached ratio in Cgy has been in low 30% range in recent years, Wpg/Edm 40%+, Saskatoon ~50%, Toronto city property around 6-7% lol. I actually like Cgy's mix the best as it provides options for many different housing types. Toronto is heavily skewed to apartments, which is a lifestyle...

    Urban Development and Proposals Discussion

Not too surprised with the very strong apartment absorption numbers. Even during slower growth, the last few yrs have seen near record semi-detached, row, apartment construction. Cgy has seen a very strong decline in single detached construction % over the past decades, much stronger reversal...
