The towers are pretty generic looking, but the part I'm most excited about is the podium. It's so great to see portions of 10th ave getting actual retail frontage and sidewalks.

This would have a good sized effect on that stretch of University ave as it would be the first project on the north side east of 39th and would be nice to have something other than an empty field across from Block 23.

I like the brick pattern. It certainly has an older look to it, but it's unique enough that it won't be tied to any particular time frame. Plain brick of one colour might have been a better way to go, but this fine by me.

This will be a polarizing project. some will love it and some will hate it. Count me in the love it camp.

Yeah corruption in Detroit was notoriously bad. You could add drug problems to the list of issues as well. Combine all of those things and it's a crazy story. If I had to pinpoint why Detroit was much worse off than other U.S. cities I would say, it was the combination three things that happened...

On the DP it shows 28 floors of residential units, with one extra floor on top, maybe for social space? Looks like maybe an outdoor terrace, which would be hella cool.

This evening's premiere of Yellowstone season 4 reminded me of something lol.That I saw a truck on site, either on Thursday or Friday. It looked like one of those drilling sample trucks. Maybe something happening with this?
