Wondering the same thing. Speaking of the dome, man it’s looking really shabby on the exterior, they have completely given up on even basic maintenance.

In my idea world, I would like to see the following things in the entertainment district: -Large entertainment type restaurant (Rec Room) -Upscale restaurant -Small movie theatre like the one at Market Mall -Coffee shop/pizza place/ice cream ala Bridgeland -Couple unique fast food chains, maybe...

It’s not even that recent of an update, about a year old at least (BMO is only a 1/4 built). Disappointing…but I will still stare at it for a few hours lol.

Really wish the second phase hotel/condos would start up.

Just walked past there and there is utility markings all over the sidewalks and road all around the lot, plus the trees have orange fencing wrapped around them. I don’t think anyone would do that if they didn’t plan construction soon.

If the last photo is more indicative of what it looks like in person (more brighter copper looking) than that is much better. The top photos make it look so dull and dark.

The Stephen Ave renovation, along with the renovated Glenbow, Arts Commons, and Olympic Plaza will only further to enhance the avenue into the cities premier street. You love to see it!

I don’t know why the zoo has been so secretive of this project. There are zero proper renderings of what the finished product will look like. Nothing printed on all the construction fencing either. Damn, looks like they clear cut a lot of trees for this. Hoping it turns out really good.

Couldn't have said it better. The 17th Ave extension is atrocious and cheap looking. Very few trees, basic concrete design, very wide and imposing, univiting and uninteresting. They better landscape the hell out of the BMO grounds in front of the building to soften the blow of 17th. I just don't...

Haha this must be the worst bait and switch in terms of renderings of all time! Absolutely terrible execution compared to the rendering. Cidex is so bad at developing buildings it’s laughable.

Would rather have a better arena on a larger lot than the opera house and smaller arena. Too bad about Fort Calgary, that place has never been able to truly become a main attraction.
