    What does it matter in the long term what they look like? Empty buildings are now going to be full of new residents that will bring more life, retail and restaurants to the area. So much complaining on this site about what they look like. Not the celebration that we have new life in old structures

    Where is the money coming from? Unlike the new event centre that will be used 100’s of times a year for various things. A new footballs stadium has few uses. Big white elephant for the near $1 Billion price tag.

    Wonder if they could put a membrane over the pit one the hole has been dug for the underground parking? This would stop the creosote from seeping up , but would it stop water from above seeping back into the ground?
