I’ve been led to believe the loading dock access can handle all future equipment entry and egress, so expect the ramp’s days to be numbered.

The current closure of 14th Ave that began on March 30 is expected to last into the fall. The plan is to raise the street by 2 meters.

2 meters seems like a lot. Is 14th ave currently lower than other streets? Or is it going to have a ramp between 14th Ave and Stampede Trail/5A?

I don't know the specific details of what they're doing beyond that they're raising the street 2 meters. I do know however that the corner of 14th Ave and 5a Street is particularly lower than the others.

5A lowers at least a metre - metre and a half, to the corner and then 14th dips significantly in the middle of the block.

Reading the DP set I have, the survey grade at 14th Ave & 5A St. is 1042.11m and it appears it will be raised to at least 1043.10m. West end is 143.27m.
