The number 81 used to run down McLeod I don’t know if it still does. But yeah, outside of that there aren’t any bus routes. I don’t think they’re all either Elbow or Bonaventure.

It serves a lot of Macleod but with a couple side adventures for coverage

Recent service changes mercifully killed this wildly inefficient route actually, 81 still is used but it goes in a different direction now. Not sure if they have replaced parts of it in a different route combo to provide MacLeod coverage.

Ahhh I just checked and it did indeed change to a Highfield feeder. I thought I was misremembering because CT hasn't updated the map on their own website!!

Looks like the 81 at least covers the section where this development goes, and more or less is a feeder to the LRT stations. Not the great transit service for this stretch, but it does the trick.

I thought I read that they were moving into the old Schanks location near there.

Not sure where the temporary spot will be but doesn't that recent article state they'll have a spot in this development when it's completed?

Edit: Was certain it said they were, but it must have been corrected, or I read it on another news article.

That parcel looks to include the Schanks and a few of the other buildings. With the exception of the McDonald's, Mr. Lube and Midas.

Related, only in that this is semi-close to LRT and thus I was staring at both stations on the map....but any reason the city wouldn't sell air rights to all their Transit parking lots, with a price guarantee on public parkade lots?
