I walked past it this afternoon and had to do a double take when I noticed the opening windows, when it didn't look like they had changed anything.
When you see the latest photo in a thread and have no idea if the project has even been started is quite something.Walk by this every day to work... some questionable choices. I get why Strategic gets the rep they do.
What I mean is the Lobby and CRUs on Centre Street work looks like something done by an untrained person doing a DIY.When you see the latest photo in a thread and have no idea if the project has even been started is quite something.
Maybe by summer, they've stripped back the lobby to the concrete and there's daily work in the units.Any word on a completion date for this one that’s more specific than sometime this year?
Looks to be the NE corner of the building.Such a sneaky conversion. Big one too - 264 unit's is huge. That's another 300 - 350 people living as central as it gets, with a Plus-15 connection right into Suncor's new podium renovation. Would be a weird place to live, but ultra-accessible to so much stuff someone would want it live here.
Had this been a new build we'd have been all excited about a building of this scale. Really highlights the whole office conversion approach. The buildings will hardly change but there will slowly be more and more people in the core 24/7.
They have a little floor-plan navigator tool on the rental website so you can see some of the layouts:

This one caught my eye, 2BR/2 Bath; about $2,700 / month. Rather uniquely, it has windows on three sides of the apartment - I don't recall seeing that before.
