Calgary International Airport

19.4 is about what was expected. All considered, those are good numbers, and if US travel ever comes back, we should easily top 20 million.
They've redeployed a lot of those US routes. Even without transborder, once WS put their full fleet in service (quite a few undergoing retrofits), the Max 10 gets certified, and then the new orders, YYC will easily surpass that total. AC also seems to be coming back with some new winter vacation destinations.

I am very confident we will surpass 20 million this year, which is exciting. I recall reading a couple years ago that 20 million is considered the threshold for being considered a large airport by global standards.

I was kind of surprised that we ever got a Raleigh flight in the first place, its not really a high profile city and its really only a midsize airport. All things considered this shows WJ continuing to consolidate in Calgary by pulling more Vancouver and Edmonton routes. I wouldn't be surprised if the planes from the discontinued Raleigh flight and some of the Edmknton and Vancouver flights get reassigned to other flights out of YYC.

The axing of YVR-SAN will certainly help the YVR-TIJ new route they just announced.
Unless these cuts are just summer cuts?
TIJ has not been announced by WestJet. It seems only a letter of intent was signed. It would probably be a winter add if it happens

They consolidated some of those YEG/YVR cuts with additional frequencies here including up to 11x weekly to BOS and up to 3x daily to ATL. MSP also goes daily on WS metal.

YVR/YEG are also losing WS to YUL and we gain an extra daily to 3x.

GDL / MZT are seasonal extensions, while FLL/OGG/PUJ revert back to winter seasonal. HNL takes a brief hiatus in May/June.

I suspect additional domestic routes will get announced as well.
