An article in the Herald says that 3 show suites are now open in building 1 with possession starting in the spring. Possession for building 2 starts next summer.

The units are priced pretty crazy too, most close to and over $1M. Then to get something with no brick or any design and look like University residences is pretty funny. UD is selling well and I think developer have started to cheap out on the materials. See the change from Brookfield/Truman's early build to the new stuff now.

This is probably the first time I seen a project end up with windows larger than what was presented in the renderings..... AND YET..... SOMEHOW!!... IT'S STILL WORSE THAN THE RENDERS!!!!!!

I wouldn’t call Magna the ‘crown jewel’ but none of the UD buildings are architectural gems. The buildings are solid with some being above average, but it’s the collection of them and the overall neighborhood design, especially the Avenue that make U/D a success. The sum is much better than the parts.
