drove past today, looked like the main floor raft pour is being prepped
Looks like a big pour on site today, lots of big cement trucks lined up on 11th currently.
Not to nit pick, but the main floor isn't a raft, it's likely a transfer slab. A raft slab is a foundation type used to spread the weight of a building over a larger area, usually due to weak soil conditions. A transfer slab is used when the loads above and below don't align, so you use a very thick floor to transfer those loads. A good example is the Kings of 4th site, they have what looks to be a 3-4m thick transfer slab on L3 where the columns above and below clearly don't align.![]()
